Originating from Denmark, photographer Peter Westh studied photography in Copenhagen followed by two decades of fashion photography assignments worldwide, particularly Paris and Milan, alongside notable fashion designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano and Christian Lacroix. He was also one of the first photographers to shoot super models Lily Cole, Tiiu and Helena Christensen among others. His major editorial works include Vanity Fair, Vogue worldwide and Elle.
More recently, Peter has moved into fine art photography, inspired particularly by Pop Art which clearly reveals itself in the iconic 'Lust' series of works displayed in this show, blending intriguing fashion genre observations with powerful neo pop art imagery via a painterly digital colour style that the artist has mastered over many years.
